Who is the evilest animatronic in Five Nights at Freddy's?

Published 2026-10-28 by FNAF Free

The games do not pick one

Five Nights at Freddy's does not name an evilest animatronic. The 2014 game has no ranking, no vote, and no line that calls one robot worse than the others. Steam calls them animatronic robots and names Freddy Fazbear as the main attraction. It does not give any of them a motive.

Players use "evil" for at least three different questions: who can end the night, who they hold responsible for the murders, and who looks the most frightening. Those answers are not the same character.

Who can end the 2014 night

From 12 AM to 6 AM you stay in the office. Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Rabbit, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate move through the building. Any of those four can end the night. The game does not say why they move.

Golden Freddy is rarer. He is not on the Show Stage. After he appears in the office, this version returns to the opening screen. That is a different ending from the usual game-over card. It is still not a ranking.

Why players say Springtrap

When players mean a person who chose to kill, they usually name Springtrap. Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is the game they open for that suit. The Springtrap wiki tells that suit as William Afton. Player discussions repeat that telling. It is not a line in the 2014 game. This page has not checked a spoken line inside the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 version here.

Springtrap is not Bonnie the Rabbit. Spring Bonnie is a different suit.

The other names in the argument

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location is where players meet Circus Baby. Some put her next to Springtrap. Others say she is following a plan or a program, and that this is a different kind of harm. That split is the players' split.

Players who mean the most frightening face often point at the Nightmare models in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. A frightening design is not the same claim as a murderer inside a suit.

Eleanor comes up in the Fazbear Frights books. She is not in the 2014 game, and this site has no page for those books. An answer from the books is a different question.

Players also name the Mimic, and they describe that endoskeleton as following a pattern. Secret of the Mimic is a later game. That name is not Springtrap, and it is not one of the 2014 five.

Golden Freddy is a different argument

Some players answer with Golden Freddy because of the office scare, or because of a spirit who wants revenge. Cassidy, the Crying Child, two spirits, and Andrew are all in that argument. Players do not agree. The Golden Freddy note keeps those names side by side. Revenge is not the same claim as the Springtrap telling, which names a living person who killed the children.

Play the night you mean

For the night with the four robots on the cameras, press play on Five Nights at Freddy's. For the suit players call Springtrap, open Five Nights at Freddy's 3. Neither game prints a winner.
